IRON GUARD Salvation

IRON GUARD Salvation is a tower defense game with strategy elements from developer Xlab Digital. The fight for humanity takes place across several planets, including the hostile world of Acris, where robot waves attack in endless succession.

Defenses form the backbone of the game. Turrets get built, upgraded and combined to match the enemy lineup, and the arsenal passes 25 different types. Moveable platforms let the player adjust the defense layout mid battle.

Control comes in two flavors. The player can oversee the battlefield from above or shrink into the action and fire from a handheld drone. Both modes share the same tactical layer, and switching between them changes how the battle feels.

Three heroes lead the defense. Graves, Irina and Mitchell each bring abilities that can shift the momentum of a fight, and choosing the right one for the battlefield is part of the strategy.

Resource management keeps the economy alive. Harvesters, minerals and factories feed a steady flow of materials, and upgrades apply to turrets and the drone alike. Superweapons add another layer on top of the standard arsenal.

Enemies adapt to each battle. Different tactics force the player to rethink the defense, and the difficulty setting adjusts the challenge level. Leaderboards give the replay loop a competitive target.

The campaign spans 30 hand crafted levels across multiple planets. Each world brings new obstacles and strategic opportunities, and the difficulty ramps up as the fight spreads.

Pacing stays fast from the first wave. Battles start quickly, and the flow between building, upgrading and defending leaves little downtime. The game keeps the player engaged through short, intense engagements.

The current version is the 17 August 2026 build, tagged Build 21436964. It is a full release packed in an ISO image and ready to install. Xlab Digital publishes the title on Steam.
