Assassins Creed Black Flag Resynced

Assassins Creed Black Flag Resynced is an open world action adventure from Ubisoft, rebuilt and republished for modern systems. The release brings the classic pirate saga to a new generation of players with updated presentation and new features.

The original Black Flag set the standard for pirate games in 2013. The player took the role of Edward Kenway, a privateer turned assassin who sails the Caribbean in search of fortune. The open sea, tropical islands and the golden age of piracy shaped the whole experience.

The game combines two worlds. On land, the player uses stealth, combat and parkour through colonial cities and jungle settlements. At sea, the ship becomes a second character, with naval battles, boarding actions and crew management built around it.

The Resynced edition updates the classic for current hardware. Visuals, performance and quality of life improvements bring the game up to date, while the core gameplay stays true to the original design.

Development involved a wide network of studios. Teams from Ubisoft Montreal, Quebec, Shanghai, Singapore, Barcelona, Bordeaux and several other locations contributed to the project, which reflects the scale of the remake effort.

Players return for the same reasons they loved the original: the freedom of the sea, the hunting of treasure and the story of Kenway. The ship combat remains the standout feature, with wind, weather and crew positioning all playing a role in every engagement.

The game is a full release, delivered in a Deluxe Edition package. The build includes the complete campaign and the content that came with the deluxe version of the game.

The current version is the 17 August 2026 build, tagged Deluxe Edition v1.0.6 Build 24424450. It is packed in an ISO image and ready to install. The title is available on Steam under the Ubisoft label.
