Twisted Tower

A daughter gone missing at a mysterious Ivy League school in Germany, and a father who will not rest until he finds her. Adam's search leads to a place stranger than any campus: a tower where every floor holds a new horror waiting. Twisted Tower is a shooter horror adventure developed by Atmos Games and published by 3D Realms.

The game plays as a first person shooter in the style of classic early 2000s titles, drawing comparisons to Half-Life and Resident Evil. You push through crowds of enemies with a varied arsenal: hand pistol, rapid fire automatic weapon, explosive shotgun, precise rifle and heavy launchers for the toughest encounters. Ammunition is limited, so every shot must count, and weapons serve self defense with care rather than careless spraying into the dark.

The reception has been warm. DualShocker gave it 9 out of 10, praising the chilling ride through what may be the scariest theme park in existence. WayTooManyGames scored 8.5, noting combat that exceeded expectations and fresh awe on every floor. COG Connected called it a must play for fans of BioShock, classic shooters, haunted carnivals and evil amusement parks at 8 out of 10.

Retro shooter mechanics wrapped around a horror setting full of twisted attractions give the adventure its identity. The search for Adam's daughter drives the story floor by floor, and escalating encounters keep the pace tight from start to finish. Players who value atmosphere, classic gunplay and a story worth finishing will find the climb well worth the fear that greets them on every level. The tower keeps its worst surprises for the upper floors, and the pacing never lets the tension settle for long. It is a climb built for players who like their shooters loud, their horror louder, and their stories personal. Ammo counts and health bars become the only numbers that matter by the second floor.
