LET IT DIE is a brutal and fast-paced survival action game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and Supertrick Games. Set in the aftermath of a global tectonic cataclysm in 2026, southwest Tokyo has been transformed into an island pierced by a massive, mysterious tower known as Barbs Tower. Led by Uncle Death a skateboarding Death your mission is to fight your way to the top of this deadly structure in pursuit of a rumored sacred treasure.

Players begin their climb in their underwear, forcing them to scavenge weapons, craft armor, and devour strange creatures and mushrooms to survive and gain combat boosts. The combat system emphasizes risk management, stealth, and ultra-violent "Rage Moves" alongside stylized, gory finishing moves. Death comes with serious consequences: you lose your inventory, and your fallen fighter is resurrected as a hostile enemy called a "Hater." Beyond the main ascension, Tokyo Death Metro lets you send invading "Haters" to plunder other worlds and raid rival player bases. Voiced by actors like Mark Hamill and Vern Troyer, the game offers a unique cycle of combat, resource gathering, and reclaiming lost ground.
