Freud Gate — is an interactive game project with an extraordinary plot line and interesting events, of which you will become a full part. You will take on the performance of a rather unusual role — the role of a spiritual mentor who associates with a sad girl mired in deep depression. Your task is to get the heroine out of trouble and guide her on the true path. The gameplay is divided into two individual parts, one of which immerse you in reality, and the other in the imaginary world.

As for the gameplay, here it is as simple as possible. You need to pay special attention to the study of the world, passing through various puzzles and obstacles. The game includes several levels, each of which is executed individually, and therefore unpredictable. This makes the game interesting, and at the same time quite complicated. You will face depressed people and you will try your best to get them out of depression. The development of events will directly depend on your decisions and actions, so you should be as careful and focused as possible in order to prevent mistakes.

Инструкция по установке

Пошаговый процесс установки для CODEX

Откройте .iso через программу виртуальных дисков (например, Daemon Tools) — в Windows 10/11 достаточно двойного клика по образу.
Установите игру, запустив setup.exe и следуя шагам мастера.
После установки скопируйте всё содержимое папки CODEX с диска в папку с игрой и согласитесь на замену файлов.
Запустите игру обычным ярлыком, лучше от имени администратора.

Проблемы с запуском игры?

Перед поиском ошибки проверьте основные причины.

steam_api64.dll и другие файлы из папки CODEX — сердце релиза: если антивирус их удалил, восстановите их из карантина и добавьте папку игры в исключения.
Релизы CODEX работают полностью офлайн. Для надёжности заблокируйте .exe игры в брандмауэре, чтобы она не пыталась связаться со Steam.
Ошибки вроде отсутствия d3dx9_43.dll или MSVCP140.dll означают, что не установлены runtime-компоненты — поставьте всё из папки Redist или _CommonRedist на диске.
