Giraffe and Annika

Giraffe and Annika is a 3D adventure game for PC. We play as Annika, a girl with cat ears, who explores the unusual island of Spica and tries to return lost memories. In terms of game mechanics, Giraffe and Annika are a typical three-dimensional adventure game. Watching the game from a third-person perspective TTP rear view, the player controls the girl and explores the surroundings, collects objects, talks to the characters he encounters, and fights with enemies. The game uses an unusual, music-based combat system. At the end of each dungeon we pass, we have a battle with a powerful boss.

When exploring locations, we must also be careful with dangerous traps — for example, rolling or falling stones. The goal of the game is to go through all the levels and get acquainted with the plot, which is presented mainly through drawn visual inserts. Giraffe and Annika runs on Unreal Engine 4. The game has a three-dimensional graphic design that looks decent. The game world is distinguished by its characteristic, fabulous atmosphere. The characters are made in the style of manga — in the same style in which feature films and partially animated cartoons are created.
