I downloaded the game from codex fine but when i try to open it, it does nothing 

How do i activate the rip and tear dlc?Btw i download the codex version when it was released here, This game has been updated 29-03-2020, 17:24 to the latest version v1.0 Build 4776612. Do i have to update my game to get the latest version? If so, how?
