But this time it’s not the resistance to the aliens that awaits you, but a new threat in the conditions of a new, only recently formed world. More than five years have passed since the events of the second part. People were finally able to conquer their world from the aliens, and as a result, the heads of aliens left Earth, leaving their wards, soldiers on it. After long wars, people were able to reconcile with the aliens and as a result began to try to get along together on our planet. And the so-called City-31 was built, which became the bulwark of peace and prosperity. But not everyone liked the new device of the world. The groups that declared war on cooperation with aliens began to wreak havoc and devastation everywhere, and now only you, having led the inter-racial organization Chimera, can leave the destruction of the still not fully recovered world.

As for the gameplay, as a whole it has not changed so much. You will also manage the organization responsible for security and special operations, and you will also create detachments, conduct special operations outside the organization’s base, take part in turn-based battles, and much more. In general, everything in XCOM Chimera Squad remains in place. But there are several important «buts.» And the most important of them is that now they will have to manage not only humans, but also aliens. Now in your squad there will be aliens and people, and you will need to teach them how to act together, harmoniously. And of course, the game has acquired a bunch of new mechanics. For example, what is the mechanics of the assault worth, thanks to which now you can participate in the assault on buildings, which also requires special skills and clear planning of actions.
