Crysis Remastered — is a re-release of the first part of the cult shooter, represented by a single player campaign, the Crysis Warhead add-on, improved graphics and support for ray tracing. The game takes place in 2020. An alien ship has landed on the coast of China. The main character Jake Dunn, nicknamed the Nomad, is armed with futuristic weapons and a nanosuit and engages in a battle not only with alien invaders, but also with the North Korean army. The game starts in the jungle. The territory of the game «Crisis» is very extensive and allows you to achieve the goal in various ways. The gameplay is based on the protagonist’s exoskeleton, represented by 4 operating modes Defense, Strength, Speed, Disguise.

About This Game

All weapons in the game can be upgraded depending on the style of play. Among the modifications are various sights, grenade launchers, rifle lights or pistol silencers. Weapons are divided into human and alien. Among the first is a pistol, two rifles, a shotgun, a Gauss cannon, and the second is represented by a Molecular Accelerator. The barrels use Picatinny rails, allowing the weapon to have 4 attachment points and to modify any part of it. Transport is divided into water, land and air. During the operation, Jake can use any of them: jeeps, tanks, boats, airbags, hydrofoils, combat helicopters and others.

The gameplay is conventionally divided into two parts: open spaces and linear corridors. In the first case, this is the «sandbox» mode, where only the goal is given, and the methods of solution are limited only by the player’s imagination. It is allowed to play both in stealth mode and to act directly in the forehead. For example, you can enter the «Restoration» base in various ways: make an attack from the sea, land on the beach and go through a minefield, or go from the rear. At linear levels, Crysis Remastered turns into a furious first-person shooter.
