Fishing Update Now Live! Hey ranchers, Ranch Sim\'s fishing update is now live! Whether alone or with friends, head down to the lake for a relaxing new pastime and money making opportunity. To purchase a fishing rod and tackle you\'ll need to head to the new fishing hut, which is marked on the in-game map. Once obtained, keep an eye out for ripples near the edge of the water to locate fishing spots. Hold Tab to access the action wheel and switch to your rod, and then press the R key to open the tackle menu and make your selection. Now you are all set! Hold right click to cast. Once you have a bite, press left click to pull the fish in. We have a variety of fish species (carp, trout, perch) and sizes, as well as three tackle types to choose from, so dive in and see how much money you can make for your ranch.  We\'ve also added fishing to the Southwest Ranch & Farm DLC map, so it\'s a great time to jump in if you haven\'t already: Thanks, The Ranch Sim Team

Sheep Update NOW LIVE | Sheep and Lambs, Shearing and Milking Get all the details hereHello ranchers, We\'re excited to announce that sheep are now available in Ranch Sim! You can now purchase, raise and tend to sheep and lamb on your ranch. Make sure to shear the sheep and sell the wool for a profit, or milk them and make cheese! Alternatively, slaughter the sheep for meat to sell to the general store or the Best Burger restaurant for funds. This new update also adds the ability to produce sausages and meatballs from goat meat.   Patch NotesAdded sheep Sheep can be sheared Trimmer (for sheep shearing) added to general store Sheep and Goat meat can now be processed into Sausages and Meatballs Sheep can be milked and that milk can be turned into Cheese How to Shear SheepYou\'ll need to purchase trimmers from general store - once you\'ve picked up the trimmers, this unlocks the ability to shear sheep. It doesn\'t need to be equipped in the action wheel. Approach sheep and you\'ll see a prompt to shear. How to Milk SheepYou can milk female sheep in the same way you milk a cow. However, you will need to use a small bucket for this or the milking machine. You can use this milk to produce cheese, and add mould to the cheese to increase the value.   Up Next for Ranch SimOur focus is now moving onto our fall update, which will add a host of additional decoration and building items, enabling you to make your ranch feel more like a home. We will also be updating the in-game economy, in particular around the selling of goods. Out Now: Horse Breeding and Tree Planting Update Hello ranchers, The horse and tree planting update is now available on the main branch, meaning it\'s available for all players!  Horse BreedingHorses can now be bred! A male and female horse will now naturally breed when placed together.After a few in-game days the foal will be born. Once fully grown it will inherit a mix of characteristics (stats) from the parents. Plus, who doesn\'t like baby horses? Too cute. Tree PlantingThis update introduces the ability to plant and grow trees! To plant trees, you\'ll first need to buy a shovel from the hardware store. Once you have obtained the shovel, you can then purchase seedlings from the general store. At the ranch, you can select your shovel via the action wheel to prepare the ground (Press left click) for planting a seedling. Grab your seedling and then use E to plant it into the prepared ground. Log TrailerA new trailer is now available at the hardware store! The log trailer can hold 36 logs at a time. Logs can also now be sold for $2 each. Handy! We\'ve also fixed an issue with crashing when switching FSR modes.

Hotfix Out Now + Nominate Ranch Sim in the Steam Awards! Optimisation improvements, FSR, rain adjustments and more! Hey ranchers, We\'ve just released a hotfix which includes optimisation improvements and adds FSR tech to the game to help those of you on AMD cards and lower spec machines. We are also making adjustments to the weather to reduce the chance of rain, plus a handful of other fixes.

Build Anywhere Update Full Patch NotesNew!- New, optimised map;- Larger ranch territory;- New construction system: you will receive a construction book containing blueprints for you to build anywhere on your Ranch;- New construction objects, all found in the construction manual. Includes items like: foundations, floor, walls, doors, stairs, roofs, coops, barn, fences, feeders, prefabricated houses, lamps and preserving bins for meat and cheese products.- Added functionality to the hardware store and revamped the building.
