Описание

Arkham Horror Mothers Embrace — virtual adaptation of a fairly popular board game based on the stories of the great writer Howard Lovecraft, who worked in the horror genre. Some of his works are still in the collection of the book The Myths of Cthulhu and tells about the terrible, bloodthirsty space monsters that were on planet Earth long before the appearance of mankind and were the most ancient gods who ruled the universe, time and planets. It was his fantasy that gave birth to bloodthirsty monsters, from which the hairs on the body stand on end. They live in a parallel dimension, but periodically invade our earthly world.

About This Game

In particular, the game takes you to an ancient old mansion where a terrible murder was committed. The action takes place in a small town in 1926, where a professor of astronomy was killed. Her wounds indicate that she died a terrible death. You have to go to the very den of monsters, but before that you need to choose 12 assistants, experienced detectives, each with their own skills and characteristics, which will help you shed light on events and solve a mysterious murder, collect evidence, and conduct interrogations.

Your companions are tough guys, they master long-range and short-range weapons, as well as spells and magic. They will help you collect all the details bit by bit in order to build one big logical story, while simultaneously collecting all sorts of important things around the mansion that will help you survive. But do not forget that we are talking about the work of Lovecraft, which means that you will have to monitor the psychological state of the detectives, because they can easily go crazy after the horror that they see. Mysticism is not only in forgotten nightmares, but also in terrible places where cults of worship of monsters were held beyond human understanding.

Пошаговый процесс установки для CODEX

  1. Откройте .iso через программу виртуальных дисков (например, Daemon Tools) — в Windows 10/11 достаточно двойного клика по образу.

  2. Установите игру, запустив setup.exe и следуя шагам мастера.

  3. После установки скопируйте всё содержимое папки CODEX с диска в папку с игрой и согласитесь на замену файлов.

  4. Запустите игру обычным ярлыком, лучше от имени администратора.
