Описание

The Binding of Isaac Rebirth — is a kind of performance by Edmund McMillen in the field of the computer games industry. This independent game maker is famous for his unconventional approach to creating conceptually unusual products. Take, for example, the furious and super-difficult arcade platformer Super Meat Boy, where the whole world is opposed to the main character, who is a piece of meat. With the Ballad of Isaac, things are a little different. Yes, the game is still the same two-dimensional as the other projects of the above-mentioned developer, but the very idea of the gameplay has changed. Platformer puzzles have been replaced by a rogue-like setting, and the plot contains references to stories from the Bible.

In this horn-like adventure game, we are invited to take control of a guy named Isaac, as you can guess from the name of the game, and lead him through dungeons teeming with spiteful critics. As befits the genre, random generation is at the forefront of the gameplay. Each time the world surrounding the protagonist is created through procedural random algorithms, so the rooms through which you have to go are always full of unpleasant surprises, in particular traps and bizarre monsters. The game’s bestiary is teeming with freaks of all stripes and types, from bloody babies to giant arthropods and arachnids. The boy, exiled to the dungeons by his own devout mother, is not helpless: there are tears in his arsenal — an irreplaceable weapon against any enemies. He shoots droplets from his eyes and inflicts damage on monsters with them. In the process of passing, you can find bonuses that enhance the hero, as well as assistants who will help in battles.
