The Mercury Man

The Mercury Man — neonural adventure from Ilya Maddison’s studio with elements of point-and-click quests and turn-based combat system. Players fall out the role of a police hunter for «mercury». In the XXIV century, mankind opened a new way to combat deadly diseases, which consisted in replacing the blood of people in their organisms with mercury. The people who agreed to this operation were called mercury. Initially, the operation was only available to the richest and most privileged, but with the passage of time, the spread of low-cost clinics made it possible to join the «mercurial» wider society.

About This Game

As usual, good intentions led to serious consequences. Ordinary people increasingly began to pick up deadly diseases, and the treatment with mercury was no longer able to save them. Soon it turned out that contact with «mercury» leads to diseases, and a new form of treatment was completely banned. To combat the «mercury» were created special police units that hunted them and eliminated. Of course, the rich and privileged due to their position could avoid hunting, but this led to civil protests and riots.
