SOMA — is another creation in the style of horror from the studio Frictional Games, which, in turn, has already managed to give fans of the genre such great projects as Penumbra and Amnesia. The games of this company are famous for the fact that they frighten not only with primitive scripted scenes, but really create an atmosphere of hopelessness, full of despair and fear, which will breathe in the player’s back from the very beginning to the ideological end. In game SOMA, you and will play on behalf of a young man named Simon Jarett, who gets into a car accident and miraculously survives. However, the accident does not pass without a trace for the protagonist.

About This Game

However, in reality, the protagonist found himself inside a futuristic underwater marine complex. The gameplay in SOMA is presented by a first-person camera and consists of exploring the spaceship and solving puzzles. The latter, most often, are tied to interaction with local electronics, control panels and computer terminals. Simons ability is the ability to hear the echoes of the dead people who were at the station before him. This, in turn, helps to better understand the local storyline.
