Galactic Civilizations 4 is a turn-based 4X strategy game with an expressive sci-fi atmosphere, unlimited freedom of action and entertaining combat and economic mechanics that influence the passage and make you think carefully about your actions and adjust to the intergalactic events around you. The new part of the series is technically based on the ideas and concepts of previous releases, but offers a lot of exclusive content that changes the gameplay and makes adjustments to the storytelling, the complexity of the tests and the number of secondary objectives. Among the key innovations, a new way of storytelling stands out: instead of a career divided into chapters, the developers offer a procedural generation of the universe and a Mission mode with changing goals and unpredictable plot twists and turns.

About This Game
Each new challenge builds on the previous one and forces on the scale of a changing galaxy to adapt to the situation or act contrary to space etiquette. In addition to single storytelling, strategy is also available in multiplayer mode on the global map, you will have to interact almost continuously with space stations and planets, hold diplomatic meetings and fight opponents that appear on the way. As in Missions, there is a choice of factions, preferred tools and starting bonuses that affect the development and speed of entering the battle for the galaxy. Multiplayer is available in several formats: in addition to rating fights, there are also practice fights, as well as closed lobbies with invited friends and allies in case you want to hold a kind of tactical party.
The strategy has also been added from a graphical point of view the world looks alive, and the characters and part-time representatives of the factions have noticeably added in variety and detail. In addition to people on the screen, there are navigators resembling huge caterpillars with 8 legs, and synthetic organisms that combine biotechnology and artificially grown organs. Competitors in the genre are hardly able to demonstrate something similar, especially with such fine-tuning of the world and the ability to fly through the entire galaxy, capturing other people’s ships, gaining experience and relying on brute force or eloquence skills.

The v3.01 patch for Galactic Civilizations IV brings adjustments for enhancing gameplay.The map generation settings for \"Sector Layout\" and \"Hyperlane Frequency\" have been tweaked to increase the likelihood of clustered hyperlanes, improving navigation and strategy. Multiplayer functionality has been addressed, fixing a bug that prevented players from loading into games larger than 32MB, as well as resolving an issue that restricted players from joining ongoing multiplayer sessions they were not originally part of. v3.01 ChangelogMap Generation Normal settings for “Sector Layout” and “Hyperlane Frequency” are more likely to cluster and produce Hyperlanes.
