Voice of Cards The Isle Dragon Roars takes us on a journey into a fantasy universe. After the awakening of the titular dragon, threatening the inhabitants of the earth, the hero decides to go on a long and dangerous journey to fight him and receive a prize for killing the beast. The protagonist is not alone, as he is accompanied by a monster tied to him named Mar and Melanie, a witch who hates the winged reptile. How the fate of the team will turn out depends on the decisions we make during the game.

Voice of Cards The Isle Dragon Roars is reminiscent of tabletop RPGs and card games. The plot is told to us by the master of the game, played by Todd Haberkorn, and all our actions are connected with playing cards. This applies both to exploring the world represented as a map of maps waiting to be revealed and to interacting with its elements. It’s the same with the combat system Battles are turn-based, and during them we play cards related to specific heroes and their abilities. The use of special skills requires the use of crystals generated during battles in some cases, the effect of their action is determined by a die roll. The audiovisual design of Voice of Cards The Isle Dragon Roars is very impressive. Kimihiko Fujisaka supervised character appearances, while Keiichi Okabe composed the soundtrack.
