When he receives a letter from the famous developer Matthew Staunton with an invitation to beta testing of their unique development with huge equipment, the protagonist immediately agrees. Everything is absolutely experimental, so it is impossible to predict the outcome, special papers were signed that the company would not be responsible for the life of the test subject.
