Valkyrie of Phantasm — is an action bullet hell shooters to be exact with fighting game elements developed by indie studio Areazero. The game takes place in the universe created for the popular Touhou Project series. This series, launched in 1996, in some way defined the bullet hell shooter genre, which ensured not only its popularity, but also numerous imitations. The position described here is also among the latter. Valkyrie Fantasma embarks on a journey through the fantasy land of Gensokyo. One day, a meteorite falls on her, from which a mysterious light escapes, and, scattering in all directions, it reaches the most powerful inhabitants of Gensokyo.

About This Game

When its beams reached Reimu Hakurei, the girl acquired not only powerful armor, called the Valkyrie weapon, but also supernatural abilities, the main of which was the ability to move through the air at incredible speed. Wanting to find out who and for what purpose gave her this power, the main character decides to go to the source of the rays. Along the way, she will have to face other residents of Gensokyo who, like her, have also been chosen by the light. In the game Valkyrie of Phantasm, we watch what is happening from the perspective of a third person TPP.

We take on the role of one of the heroines and have extremely dynamic fights in the air. During the fights, we have to be in constant motion, dodge enemy attacks and deliver lightning-fast counterattacks. In the arena, we have a wide range of techniques at our disposal: we can attack in close combat, shower the target with a flurry of projectiles, or use combat spells. In addition, the key to victory is the skillful use of attacks and special abilities, the strength of which depends on the degree to which the special bar Drive Gauge is filled. Valkyrie Phantasma can be played both in single player mode and online multiplayer mode for up to four people. The graphics in Valkyrie of Phantasm are made in a colorful, manga style.
