Описание
The Long Dark is a new simulator of survival in severe winter conditions. You play as pilot Willy McKenzie, who is crashed because of a strange geomagnetic storm in the endless forests of Northern Canada. Now your main task is to survive as long as possible, and to do this, explore the surrounding area, find and use various items for survival, hide from the cold and night predators, create a shelter and try to find at least a little food. The world that is familiar to you no longer exists, a strange magnetic storm destroyed all electronics and now humanity is struggling for survival. In the game you often have to make moral decisions, because being kind is dangerous for life, and meeting with the other survivors is deadly. What are you going to do? Are you ready to fight for your life? Can you last at least a day in harsh conditions? Do not know? Then you can try it in The Long Dark.

About This Game
The world in which you have to live is not forests, forests searching for food, water, lodging access to the city cheers. Nothing of the kind due to the northern lights is the technological progress that we are so proud of humanity is the most intelligent on the planet and all that — and so, this very progress was thrown back several centuries ago, man is no longer the highest being, moreover, in Food chain, we are already much lower than before. Empathy? And what is this? Forget about mercy, meeting with other people will not end well, everyone tries to survive as best as possible — and of course, if there is an opportunity to kill and rob his neighbor, no one will fail to take advantage of it. So beware. There is no place for heroism, only greed remained. The strongest, the clever, the clever and the savvy will survive perhaps.

The Long Dark Updated to version 2.51Hotfix includes a critical bug fix. Hello Community,We have just updated THE LONG DARK to version 2.51, build 170901. This is a Hotfix to THE LONG DARK and THE LONG DARK: SURVIVAL MODE and contains multiple bug fixes.Known IssuesThe team is currently aware of the following issues in the game. If you encounter one of these issues, there is no need to report it to the Support Portal. MacOS and Linux - Please note that we have temporarily disabled Additional Shadows for Structures and Terrain to address an engine level visual bug. We are working to fix the problem and will re-enable this visual enhancement as soon as possible. This impacts both MacOS and Linux versions of the game.In some rare cases when launching the game while using HDR, the display may appear completely black. This is caused by brightness somehow being set to 0. Using a non HDR display and setting the brightness to a higher value before swapping back is the only workaround for the time being.Bug FixesThis Hotfix includes fixes for the following issues: GAMEPLAY, UI, CONTROLSCritical - Fixed an issue that could cause a loss of profile progress (Badges and Feats), or result in intermittent notifications stating a player\'s profile failed to load when starting the game.Fixed an issue that allowed players to bypass the material requirements to repair structures via Safehouse Customization.Fixed an issue that prevented the Cougar from spawning on save files where it was enabled at a point after first generating the save. Unfortunately, this will not resolve the issue for saves currently experiencing this issue.Fixed an issue that prevented the Improvised Knife, Improvised Hatchet, Survival Knife and Cougar Claw Knife from being used for in-game actions such as Harvesting, opening Canned Food, or Breaking Ice where they could previously be.

Instead, it will unlock upon reloading their save.Only the first loaded Custom Survival save will provide players the option to toggle the Cougar feature on/off. Loading subsequent Custom Survival saves will not provide this option, disabling Cougar by default.Player-crafted Workbenches do not yield a Workbench Vice as expected when broken down.Rarely, Decoration placement is greatly offset after destroying or breaking down an object beneath where it is placed. (Workaround: Save and reload.)Players using a controller are unable to select a Photograph for player-crafted Framed Photo.Players can place decoration objects in inappropriate locations where they can no longer be interacted with.Placing or dropping the orange Patterned Wool Mittens causes them to become invisible.Players will be unable to Quarter Aurora Cougar Carcasses.Players will be unable to break down or destroy the Furniture Workbench.Some objects that should have the option to be broken down are missing that functionality.
