Knights of Honor 2 Sovereign — is a sequel to the medieval strategy game that combines global strategy and real-time combat. On a large map that stretches from medieval Europe to the Urals and North Africa, the player must control his empire and the movement of his army. In addition, here you can command troops, so the outcome of the confrontation will depend on the actions of the gamer. There is an honorary composition of the royal court, where you can take up to a dozen advisers. Depending on the class of the character, the gameplay allows you to unlock numerous additional features and bonuses: generals take command of the armies, merchants receive income, and so on.

About This Game
Meanwhile, the characters evolve as events unfold and learn new skills. In Honor Knights 2, for the first time, players get the opportunity to teach non-Marshals how to lead troops. A complete strategy map will also be available in multiplayer mode, where you can compete with other gamers. Here one should carefully choose the royal court and take responsibility for the fate of the entire people. Missions of conquest, defense of your territories, search for wealth, court political intrigues and other important aspects of the gameplay will play a decisive role in the outcome of the campaign.

Knights of Honor II Patch 1.7.0 Update Overview This is the sixth major update since the release of Knights of Honor II: Sovereign. This time we focused on rebellions and added new features to allow players to better handle rebellions and unrest.As always, thank you to everyone who tried this version during our beta and provided us with feedback. Changes to Rebellions Even the wisest of rulers sometimes cannot prevent a revolt against their rule. Until now, a rebel army could only be defeated in battle. With this update, we are also giving players the opportunity to give in to the rebels’ demands and restore order quickly. • New Feature: “Pay off rebellion†Players can now choose to pay off a rebellion to quickly restore order. Paying off a rebellion costs gold and all conquered provinces are ceded to the rebels. Special rebels like loyalists can also demand additional provinces. • Imminent rebellions are now indicated by a new icon in the city selection UI together with additional information.• In some cases, the game now warns players earlier about the risk of rebellions. Quality of Life Improvements • Multiplayer: Player kingdoms are now indicated on the map by a special icon in the multiplayer lobby.• Multiplayer: Banners of allied or enemy human players are now outlined with green/red borders in certain cases like city selection and audience windows.• It is now possible to reorder units in the city garrison by drag and drop.• It is now possible to merge units in the city garrison by drag and drop.• Replaced the previous 0.5 per unit-in-garrison local happiness bonus with an army-presence bonus of 1/level for each unit, including visiting armies.• Changed the shade of red text to make it more readable. Balancing • Reduced the maximum stability penalty for religious differences from 30 to 25.• Reduced the maximum stability penalty for cultural differences from 15 to 10.• Reduced the global stability bonus for defeating a rebellion from 15 to 10, but it can now be applied up to 4 times (instead of 3).• Added a 15 local stability bonus that fades over time after defeating rebels.
Knights of Honor II Patch Notes Game ver. 1.6.0 Update Overview This is the fifth major update since the release of Knights of Honor II: Sovereign. With this update, we added more depth and features to the game’s Vassalage mechanics, allowing players to choose if their vassals should contribute to their war efforts, economy or books and faith income.This version also adds more modifiers to the Army Supply system, making it even more important for players to keep an eye on their armies’ situation. Running out of supplies now has a serious impact on your soldiers’ performance and can easily turn the tide in battle. Special thanks to everyone who tried this version during our public beta. General• Improved the way the Papacy assigns cardinals, fixing an issue where no cardinals were left in late-game scenarios. Papal states should now aim to have at least two cardinals in its court and consider lower-level clerics, when no others are available.• There is now a guaranteed period (of around 10 minutes) at the start of each new king’s rule, during which he may not get married automatically.• Added a relationship penalty when breaking royal ties with a kingdom (through audience).• “Claim caliphate” is now unavailable for vassalized kingdoms.• “Spy murder”, “Hunting Incident” and “Kill the King” plots now get cancelled when the action\'s target gets imprisoned.• The “Inspire rebellion” spy plot is now disabled for AI kingdoms at the beginning of a new game (time depending on to the difficulty level).• New Journey opportunities no longer arise for scholars when they are already on a journey.• Achievements are now disabled when playing the game with modded files.• Multiplayer is now possible between players having different mods, as long as they\'re text-only (no defs/maps modded).Tactical battles• Tweaked the AI behavior of army leaders, making them less aggressive when winning decisively.• Army leader squads retreat chance is now equal on all difficulty levels.
