Northgard Cross of Vidar

Northgard Cross of Vidar has finally received a new DLC pack that adds the long-awaited second campaign. The Cross of Vidar expands on the world of Northgard, revealing the civilization of the Southern Kingdoms and introducing the Lion Kingdom as a brand new faction to get to know better. Since its release in 2018, Northgard has received regular updates, including UI improvements, clan balancing, and more. However, this update is quite massive, so it is a paid DLC it doesn’t just make a few changes. Instead, it adds an entirely new campaign set after Ragnarok has devastated the lands of Northgard. Some of the scattered clans left behind after this devastating event set off in search of a new home and stumble upon the Southern Kingdoms in the process.

About This Game

The campaign brings 8 brand new missions to the game, and an epilogue will be released in January, completing the Cross of Vidar storyline and adding 2 additional missions. The new Southern Kingdoms civilization has its own buildings, as well as a unique set of stats and properties to explore, including replacing Lore with Faith, Blessings with Vows, and a few other changes you’ll have to get used to. The first playable faction of these kingdoms, the Kingdom of the Lion, focuses on religion and military power, and has a number of benefits and perks that reflect these core areas. As you might expect, there will also be a number of fixes and changes coming with the Cross of Vidar DLC. Among them are text fixes, fixes for various pathfinding issues, and changes to how rats work.
