The Bad Kids — is a hybrid horror, adventure and puzzle game. Here you need to explore locations, communicate with characters, deal with riddles, run away from maniacs, participate in scenes with QTE, collect evidence, have fun in mini-games and conduct a detective investigation. There are also boss battles. The Chinese project stands out for its visual style. It has hand-drawn graphics with an oriental flavor that combines 2D and 3D. The camera is located on the side most of the time. During the solution of some puzzles, the angle switches to first-person view. You will have to manage a schoolboy who has serious problems with family, friends, studies and socialization.
About This Game
This teenager experiences unimaginable nightmares in the cruel adult world. The Bad Kids is an adaptation of a Chinese drama of the same name. The TV show itself is based on a novel by writer Zi Jin Chen with the exact same title. The series is also known by the alternate name The Bad Kids in and outside of China. The narrative in the video game adaptation differs from the original in an extended story. The developers have come up with new storylines. They divided everything into 5 chapters. At the same time, the creators retained the original setting. In the original script, three high school students witnessed a murder and recorded the crime on camera, which ended up getting them in a lot of trouble. In the video game, a character named Zhu Chaoyang also happened upon a horrific incident and then turned into one of the suspects.
