Grappling Dash

Grappling Dash is a dynamic platformer with a unique style. Use your grappling hook to swing across giant levels, smash through energy crystals, find hidden secrets, and master even the most challenging worlds. Play freestyle or against the timer with one or two assault rifles and complete over 10 massive levels while avoiding obstacles and deadly traps. Easy, fast and fun to play. You start the game in the middle of a giant city surrounded by skyscrapers. You look around and see a giant poster explaining the general movement. This way you will learn that you can do jerks while in the air. You also realize that you have a grappling gun in your hand and you see floating crystals overhead. You target the crystals and use your boarding gun to latch onto them. Once you hook, you begin to wobble and swing to the next crystal.

About This Game

You cling to the next crystal and have already mastered the basic movement mechanism. After a couple of hooks, you realize that you can change the direction and speed of your swing by jerking in the right direction. This is the second important thing to learn about movement, and it gives you more freedom in your movement. You will soon reach the next giant poster which explains further movement patterns that you can use to improve your accuracy and movements. You’ll learn that you can remove your grappling hook, use a dash in the air, and then latch onto the next floating crystal to gain speed and energy.

You can use this energy to collect hidden achievements, dash through activator crystals that open up new areas of the level, or speed up levels later on. You also find that the dash is updated every couple of seconds, resulting in incredibly fast and enjoyable movement once you get the hang of it. The game mechanics may seem simple at first glance, but it’s a lot of fun just to play with it, and it becomes very juicy and enjoyable once you get the hang of it. In its current state, the game has 12 different giant levels with different themes and difficulties on each one. Later, new obstacles, traps, moving crystals, hidden secrets, capturing shortcuts, enemies.
