Описание

Frontier Path of Shadows — это космическое приключение с тактическими боями, где игрок ведёт отряд наёмников через опасные районы Фронтира. Каждый контракт, найденный ресурс и случайная встреча могут изменить дальнейший путь, поэтому здесь важно не просто побеждать в сражениях, а постоянно думать о последствиях своих решений.

Миссии строятся вокруг риска. Перед вылетом нужно учитывать состав команды, снаряжение, доступные запасы и возможную награду. Иногда редкие ресурсы стоят опасной вылазки, но одна ошибка может привести к потере бойцов, техники или важных возможностей. Чем дальше продвигается отряд, тем сильнее приходится балансировать между осторожностью и желанием забрать всё ценное.

Фронтир постепенно реагирует на действия игрока. Открываются новые маршруты, меняются условия в секторе, появляются союзники, враги и дополнительные варианты развития. Улучшение команды, добыча ресурсов и выбор стороны в конфликтах формируют собственную историю прохождения, где каждое решение оставляет заметный след.

A quick update for those of you who like to play away from your desktop: Frontier: Path of Shadows can be played on Steam Deck.

We’ve adapted the controls and interface with handheld play in mind, and we’d now really like to hear from players who spend some time with the game on Deck.

If you have a Steam Deck and decide to play Frontier on it, please let us know how the experience feels.

We’re especially interested in feedback on:

  • controller comfort and navigation;

  • UI and text readability on the smaller screen;

  • performance and stability;

  • any issues that seem specific to Steam Deck.

And if everything works smoothly, that’s useful feedback too.

Your reports will help us understand what still needs attention and what we should prioritize in future updates.

Frontier: Path of Shadows is out now!

After two years of development, our first major PC project is officially released.

It’s hard to describe how much this moment means to us. What started as ideas, prototypes, experiments, and a lot of work has finally become a game you can buy, download, and play today.

In Frontier: Path of Shadows, you’ll follow Jay and the crew of the Simurgh through a fractured corner of outer space, get caught up in conflicts between rival factions, fight tactical battles, make difficult choices, and uncover the mystery of the strange alien being connected to Jay — the Symbiont.

We’ve spent two years living with these characters and this story. Now we’re incredibly excited to finally share them with you.

If you’ve been following the project, played the demo, wishlisted the game, or simply stumbled across us recently — thank you. Getting to release day wouldn’t feel nearly as special without people on the other side waiting to play.

And once you do play, please send us your feedback.

Tell us what you liked, what confused you, what annoyed you, which characters you loved, which choices you made, and where things went horribly wrong. Reviews, comments, bug reports, Discord messages — we’ll be reading all of it.

Release day is a huge milestone for us, but it’s not the end of Frontier. We want to keep improving the game based on what you tell us.
