Золотой Вихрь

Dear players,

Thank you all for playing our game and for providing so much feedback from your experience.

Below are the details of the v1.0.1 update.

Card Control Method Update

Default card control changed to”drag-to-play”. Until now we have been mixing the “drag-to-play” and “click-to-play” control scheme together. Since different players have different hand speeds and playstyles, it led to some unintended inputs. After this update, the default control will be set to “drag-to-play”, and players can switch to “click-to-play” or “hybrid” in the Options menu so you can switch back to controls whenever you prefer.

“Show Hand Card Count": Enable "Show Hand Card Count" in Options to display hand card hotkeys on screen, making it easier to play cards by keyboard.

Card Fixes

• Fixed an issue with Soulcrusher Fist’s attack range.

• Fixed an issue with Soul-Splitting Lightning’s indicator.

Swirl Effect Fixes

• Fixed an issue with Stellar Shift’s randomized Will Icons.

• Fixed an issue with the interaction between Stage Effect Welcome Gift and Swirl Effect Crimson Offer.

Stage Fixes

• Fixed an issue with Carlos Stoneton boss battle.

System / Other

• Fixed an issue preventing some players from unlocking new Spirit.

• Fixed incorrect tooltip positions on some screens.

• Fixed issues in some text description in “The Golden Tree”

• Fixed an issue where hand cards could sometimes not be hovered after Redraw.

• Fixed other known minor issues.

Hey everyone,

Steam June Next Fest has officially wrapped, and I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who downloaded the demo, left feedback, and wishlisted Golden Swirl.

Your passion and enthusiasm are what drive this small team forward.

On top of that, we've rolled out a demo update to further deepen the game's immersion and atmosphere. From now on, the world of Golden Swirl is no longer silent. Step into the game and you'll hear the characters' real voices, low and brooding, fierce and fiery, soft and whispering, every line now carries the weight of a living soul.

The dark fantasy atmosphere grows thicker and more immersive with these voices woven in. The dread of another world hits harder than ever.

Voice acting is just the beginning. We're hard at work on what's next: more playable characters, more cards and relics to experiment with, and boss fights that'll push you to the edge.

The free demo is live on Steam — jump in now and experience the immersion that voice acting brings.

💜 If you enjoy our game, wishlisting it would mean the world to us!

Hello, players

Since Chapter2 of Golden Swirl launched, we've been hearing a lot from you — and one piece of feedback came through loud and clear

"Chapter 2 looks awesome! But we can't even get there because the Chapter 1 boss is way too tough!"

We took a good, hard look at the situation. The Boss of Chapter1 has already been nerfed twice, and yet… it's still gatekeeping way too many players. So this time, we're making two key changes to get more of you past that first hurdle. 🛠️

① Default Battle Spirit Switched to Stellar Huntress✨

New players will now start with Stellar Huntress as their default battle spirit.

As a ranged-attack battle spirit, Stellar Huntress gives you more breathing room against the Chapter 1 boss — better positioning, safer distance, higher margin for error. It's a much friendlier starting experience for those first few runs.

② Chapter 1 Boss Nerf 👇

This is the big one. We've adjusted the boss to actually feel like a proper first chapter encounter.

But in the full release, stage order will be randomized and player-driven. So don't be surprised if the boss makes a mean comeback in a later run 😏

That's it for this update!

Hope you enjoy the smoother early-game experience. As always, if you run into any issues or have thoughts to share, don't hesitate to reach out.

Happy hunting!
