The game Soulstice takes place in a gloomy alternative world, made in the entourage of dark fantasy. One day, in the realm known as the Caydas Holy Kingdom, there was a rupture in the fabric of existence. Entities called ghosts appeared from another world. They inhabited the bodies of people, turning them into ugly and deadly monsters. To save themselves from them, people have developed a technology for creating chimeras — creatures born from the union of two souls. The main characters are the sisters Briard and Lut, just such super-soldiers.

Briard is a material fighter who uses various weapons to demonstrate to enemies how much a pound is dashing. Through experiments, she gained incredible strength, endurance and mobility, which allows the girl to use fantastic weapons, like huge swords. Lut — on the contrary, because of the experiments she herself became like a ghost. She is not capable of causing physical harm to someone, but compensates for this with supernatural abilities. In Soulstice, both sisters are controlled at once. And if ordinary opponents can be destroyed by the forces of one heroine, then complete synchronization of body and soul is necessary to defeat the bosses. Briares equipment is constantly changing, as a lot of treasure remains in the ruined kingdom. This allows users to customize the heroine to their liking, making her an agile archer or a warrior with a giant hammer.
