Unlike most fishing simulators, in this you will be one hundred percent free. An open world with a bunch of locations and places for fishing, advanced physics and graphics of the new generation will allow you to go fishing and get such impressions, which are not available in other simulators. And by the way, the open world here is not just an opportunity to choose any equipment.

About This Game

You can go to any location and there personally choose the place where you will be located. Hop on a quad bike and go on a trip along the lake shore, choose a place for spending the night and fishing, put up a tent and go fishing. Or maybe you prefer to fish from a boat? Easy. Take the boat and go to the middle of the same lake — everything is possible here.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
