Payday 3 is a heist game with gameplay elements very similar to Left for Dead. The game features four characters, which can be played in co-op by up to 4 people. Each character has their own backstory, skills, and personality. The game is designed to be fun, especially if you play it with friends. Robberies, shootouts, drive and danger are what will haunt players throughout the game. It is also necessary to work together, coordinate actions and cover each other. The enemies are quite dangerous they hide behind obstacles and do not attack you head-on. They can walk around from behind and throw grenades. So you won’t be able to sit behind cover.

You will have to run, be cunning, change weapons depending on the situation. The environment is destructible, glass is shot through and crumbles into small pieces, interior items are also shot through and become unusable. Enemies can be presented in the form of attack aircraft, snipers, armored flamethrowers going into the breach, with or without shields. In addition to shootouts, you will also have to open locks, solve simple puzzles, and disable CCTV cameras. The weapons behave more realistically, compared to previous series of the game, there is good recoil, each gun (pistol, assault and sniper rifle) behaves differently. Both weapons are upgraded sights, silencers, butts are added and character skills. They can be passive increasing health, stamina and active. After robberies, the character receives in-game currency, which is used to buy masks, clothes, weapons, and skills.
