Description

BAJA Edge of Control HD — this is a new version of the racing simulator, which very much resembles Dirt, but here you only need to play on the cover, which is different from the asphalt. That is a constant Dirt, so to speak. At the same time, old-timers can remember that the very idea of these nine years ago, and today we have the opportunity to play a new version of HD with full updated graphics.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
