The Headsman

The Headsman is an adventure role-playing game about the work of a medieval executioner. Punishments need to be put into effect. They can be very different: flogging, hanging, beheading, etc. The main character is a war veteran who, after serving, got a job as an executioner. He needs to serve some time in such a job before he is allowed to leave the city. Torture is very terrible, but there is no escape, so the decree must be followed. Sometimes interesting orders come. For example, piercing the skull of an already dead person because he was accused of vampirism. But basically there is very unpleasant and bloody work to be done.

It is permissible to take bribes by stepping on a slippery slope. Many acquaintances of the accused will try to get in touch in order to do their best to mitigate the punishment for their friend. Or, on the contrary, requests come to prolong the suffering in every possible way. It is very important to be indifferent to screams, requests, tears and pleas. There is no place for the weak here. Only composure and the thoughtless hand of justice carrying out orders. People will have to be dismembered, pierced, limbs cut off, etc. Ordinary citizens and even nobles go through the executioner. The execution must be carried out flawlessly so that those around you are satisfied with the work done.
