Dune Imperium — takes you into the intricacies of Frank Herbert’s famous universe. In this tabletop strategy game, players take on the role of leaders of various factions vying for power over the desert planet Arrakis. The latter is the only repository of the coveted spice melange, a substance that gives psychic abilities and longevity, plays a key role in interstellar travel and the stability of the galactic empire. Over the course of several rounds, each of which includes the Reveal, Agent, and Reveal phases, Dune: Imperium unfolds its strategic tapestry. During the Reveal phase, conflict cards contain information about rewards and punishments for the upcoming Battle of Arrakis.

Then, during the Agents phase, players strategically place their agents in key locations such as a city, starport, High Council, or desert. Each location provides certain benefits from resources and cards to influence and combat power. In the final card reveal phase, players reveal their cards, resolve conflicts, and use additional effects caused by selected cards or locations. The game ends either after a certain number of rounds or when one of the four paths of influence reaches the zenith, culminating in victory points to determine the final winner.
