Players explore the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Gauls, a region reminiscent of the majestic Alps. Here they meet fellow climbers who share their desire for adventure and conquering peaks. There are many peaks and difficulty levels to overcome, testing your climbing skills.

The character’s mastery of movement and the use of the right tools are decisive factors in overcoming the obstacles and dangers that lie in wait on the path of ascension. There is even a hut in the game where you can relax and decorate it with items collected during your journey. Peaks of Yore differs from typical arcade games by presenting an authentic simulation of 19th century rock climbing.
