Description

Darwake Awakening from the Nightmare is a classic 2D platformer with puzzle elements and a dark world to navigate. Where our melancholic Darwin, together with the mysterious Owl, will have to find a way out of the confusing labyrinth. Do you think you can handle it? Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of pop surrealism in a typical American style, thanks to which you can have a great time! Because the developers promise their players a large number of experiences. At the same time, there are minimalistic graphics and very complex, as well as well-developed game mechanics. Moreover, it all begins in the early 1900s in the Marelau residence, where the protagonist is imprisoned in his eternal nightmare.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
Check Windows Security quarantine if files are missing after extraction. Restore only files you trust, then add the game folder to exclusions if necessary.
Use a short Latin-only folder path, for example C:\Games\GameName. Avoid Cyrillic characters, very long paths and special symbols.
