As the developer admits, the idea to make a game of loneliness, of course, came to him not by chance, at that time he lived for a long time completely alone, and in the basement. In the same period of his life, he became interested in music of the Dungeon Synth genre, and it formed the basis of the unusual sound of the game. Pita, previously engaged in exclusively free games, himself worked on the game design, visual style, animation and sound of The Longing. Only a technical artist and programmer helped him. The developer created the backgrounds in Photoshop, and used the good old Flash to create the animation.
