Description

Game Store Simulator is an indie management simulator developed by Pex Entertainment. Players take on the role of a video game store owner who must buy and sell games to make a profit. The game combines business management and driving mechanics, as players must manage their cars to transport goods, manage fuel, and avoid damage on the road. The core gameplay involves buying games at low prices, creatively stocking up, and selling them for a profit. Players can expand their business by hiring workers, upgrading the store, and investing in advertising. The game features a skill tree system that allows for various discounts and increased efficiency.

Vehicle management plays a significant role, with over 10 cars and trucks available in the game, each with varying load capacities. Players must maintain their vehicles, including refueling and repairing damage from accidents. The game also features computer systems, taxation, and online sales mechanics. The key feature is customization, allowing players to decorate their store with a wide range of options to increase customer satisfaction. With nine different video game categories and different management systems, Game Store Simulator offers a comprehensive experience for those interested in running their own virtual game store.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
Check Windows Security quarantine if files are missing after extraction. Restore only files you trust, then add the game folder to exclusions if necessary.
Use a short Latin-only folder path, for example C:\Games\GameName. Avoid Cyrillic characters, very long paths and special symbols.
Run the game from its main executable after extraction. If nothing happens, try Run as administrator and check the full FAQ for the exact error message.
