Boyhoods End

Boyhoods End is a juvenile sci-fi horror adventure game developed by WSS playground and buriki clock. The game takes place in a dystopian world ruled by a mechanical overlord named R. Karellen. The game follows Giovanni, a boy with the lowest «human score» in society. Together with Giovanni and his eccentric genius friend Campanella, players embark on a journey across the galaxy, solving puzzles and exploring hand-drawn pixel art environments. The game features beautifully animated dialogues and a unique storyline that combines sci-fi elements with a coming-of-age theme. Giovanni and Campanella meet historical figures and face various challenges, but ultimately have to face the fact that their childhood is over.

The game includes elements of puzzle solving, exploration, and decision making, and touches on themes of bullying, social pressure, and personal growth. With a combination of adventure gameplay and thought-provoking storytelling, Boyhood’s End offers a unique gaming experience that explores the complexities of human nature and the transition from childhood to adulthood.
