A mysterious force has wiped out all spaceships from the sky, leaving the planet in chaos. You navigate the apocalyptic landscape, facing ferocious enemies in strategic card battles. In Dark Sky, you create custom decks for each of the six playable characters. These decks can be combined to inflict status effects and defeat enemies. The game emphasizes strategic combat, requiring careful positioning and card synergy.

You can craft and upgrade cards to unlock powerful abilities that enhance your combat effectiveness. There is also a deep card upgrade system, allowing for a variety of tactical approaches. Exploration is key. You travel through hand-drawn environments and interact with various factions such as the Outworld Collective Fleet and the Miners Guild.
