Description
Voidwrought is an action platformer set in a fantasy world formed after the arrival of the Red Star, ushering in an era of change. Players embody a Simulacrum tasked with harvesting Ichor, a divine essence coveted by monstrous creatures scattered across the world. Players navigate a labyrinthine world with precise movement mechanics and a variety of abilities. The campaign challenges adventurers to face formidable bosses across treacherous landscapes. As players progress, they unlock and equip powerful artifacts that greatly affect their playstyle. Earned through exploration and combat, these artifacts offer a range of enhancements, from spectral weaponry to strategic passive buffs.
Beneath the surface of the world of Voidwrought lies a complex network of worlds and dimensions. Gamers delve into these depths, exploring the spoiled fun of the Court, traveling through the icy tunnels of the Old Waters, and unraveling the mysteries surrounding the Abandoned Expedition. Each location is rich with history, adding new layers to the narrative. The core of the gameplay is building and expanding a shrine amidst the ruins of the Gray City. Starting from a humble enclave, the shrine grows as the player progresses. Expanding the shrine not only attracts more devoted followers, but also reveals new secrets, challenges, and rewards hidden within its depths.

Mount the .iso image — Windows 10/11 mounts it from the right-click menu, otherwise use Daemon Tools or a similar tool.

Patch #5: More Boss BalancingAmong the grand roster of the Old Gods, we have singled out two for special attention. Based on player feedback, we’ve made some balancing changes to the boss fights with The Council and the Eternal Engine. This latest small patch has brought Voidwrought up to Build 1.0.18. Thank you so much once again to everyone who has helped us by providing their feedback on our recent balancing changes!
Patch #3: Our First Major Quality of Life and Balancing Patch While The Gray City has always been divided between the weak and the strong, the balance must be delicately maintained… Thanks to your feedback, we’ve decided to implement some major quality of life changes and boss fight balancing as part of our third patch (Build 1.0.12), along with lots of bug fixes! Read on to find out more about who has been empowered, and who has been enfeebled. We’ve made the following major quality of life changes based on community feedback: The Explorer Soul: If equipped, The Explorer will now “ping†when the player enters a room with an undiscovered secret. The Explorer will also start to ping when the player gets close enough to an undiscovered secret, and the frequency will slightly increase once the player moves closer. The ping consists of VFX, SFX, and controller vibration.The Shunned Library in the Shrine has been updated with a tracker for the amount of Anamnestic Recollections turned in to Ose the Archaeologist, as well as an indicator for how many are left.Whispering Stones are now tracked under Regions in the Compendium.The Vizier: A memory of the Vizier will appear even after the Vizier has met her demise, allowing the player to talk to her and complete quests.Dropped Health shard pickups are now more visible. Alongside these quality of life changes, we’ve also made the following balancing changes to combat in Voidwrought: General Combat Player invulnerability time upon getting hit has been reduced. Boss Fights The CouncilReduced the chase duration of the third phase.The third phase will drop a health pickup when defeated.Lowered the HP for each head/phase. The Eternal EngineLowered the amount of adds for each wave.Removed the Copter from the enemy roster.Boss downtime increased. The SkychildReduced most cooldowns.Increased Projectile Speed.Increased Projectile Targeting Speed.Room Sweeper and AoE now push the player away.Slight HP increase.
