Mercenaries Lament Requiem of the Silver Wolf is a tactical RPG set in a fantasy world plagued by a mysterious disease that turns the dead into zombies. Players follow Johann, captain of the Silver Wolf mercenary company, who receives a dark prophecy of his death and meets a girl with miraculous healing powers. The game features tactical battles on maps overlooking the city block, where positioning is crucial characters can perform coordinated attacks, covering enemies with a sandwich, and gain support effects depending on the positioning of allies.

The unique «Advent Soul» system, obtained from the heroine Amalia’s BP, allows characters to enter a state of recharge, which allows them to use special moves called «Soul Supremacy» and powerful «Advent Attacks». Character progression offers flexibility through skill point allocation and class changes, and 13 collectible orbs scattered throughout the game can be used as accessories. The game’s visual style features detailed character work by illustrator Sakura Mochi, with characters displaying a variety of facial expressions throughout the story.
