Hired 2 Die is a co-op horror game for one to four players. Players encounter terrifying monsters that stalk various work areas, adding an extra layer of stress to an already tense environment. The goal is simple yet challenging: plan, survive, and catch these creatures. The game takes place in a world where a distorted perception of reality gives birth to terrifying creatures called Distortions. These creatures appear in places where people are under stress, and only those who can deal with these threats can stop the chaos. Players must plan their actions carefully to succeed.

Rushing into an unfamiliar situation can lead to disaster, so understanding the map and preparing the right tools is essential. Security cameras dotted around the level provide important information about potential dangers, but managing your energy reserves is equally important. Whether you’re working alone or with a partner, communication is key. Proximity voice chat allows players to strategize and share information to stay one step ahead of the Distortions. Hired 2 Die missions vary in difficulty. Simple objectives like organizing items can be easy. However, more complex missions like fixing electrical systems require a deeper understanding and sometimes specialized knowledge. Luckily, the mysterious Intersection company behind these operations provides guides to help players complete these tasks.
