Maraka is a physics-based RPG set in a massive cave system on an alien planet. After crash-landing during a rescue mission, you must explore procedurally generated caves to find your missing expedition and find a way to escape. The game’s unique feature is its magnetic weapon mechanics, allowing you to pull, push, and manipulate both objects and enemies. Combat emphasizes interaction with the environment rather than direct combat — enemies can be crushed by boulders, impaled on spikes, or fed to carnivorous plants.

Fully destructible environments and various physical objects (rolling boulders, mines, spears, metal shards) add strategic depth to combat. The WASD keys are used for movement, while the mouse controls melee attacks and magnetic abilities. The game features hand-painted graphics, a crafting system that allows you to gather resources during missions, and various status effects (stun, slow, electrocute) that can be combined to deal additional damage. Designed by David Kaleta, the creator of Urtuk: The Desolation, Maraka offers a fresh take on the loot shooter genre.
