SNØ Ultimate Freeriding

SNØ Ultimate Freeriding is a minimalist alpine skiing game that focuses on the mechanics of skiing and freestyle. Created by a two-person Norwegian team, this indie sports sim offers players endless procedurally generated mountains to ski without interrupting the loading process. Gameplay revolves around performing risky maneuvers and tricks to achieve high scores, while mastering the smooth controls and varied terrain. The game features multiple camera views first-person, third-person, drone, and dynamic action camera, a comprehensive scoring system, and an online leaderboard where players can compete on a global level and visit the highest-scoring mountains.

Players can unlock different character skins through gameplay mastery, share mountain seeds with others, and switch to Zen Mode for stress-free skiing without scoring. The visually sleek design runs at 60 FPS on the Steam Deck, supports keyboard and gamepad controls, and includes a photo mode for capturing memorable moments. While the game doesn’t have multiplayer or groomed slopes, it excels at fast-paced session gameplay that often turns into long one more ride.
