Description
Beyond the Ice Palace 2 is an action-adventure platformer from STORYBIRD that brings back the Commodore 64 classic after 35 years. You play as the «Cursed King» who is out for revenge to reclaim his stolen throne, collecting shards of heavenly arrows to lift the curse. Gameplay centers around your chain gun, which serves as both a combat tool to slice through enemies and a traversal mechanism to swing across chasms. The game features hidden treasure areas, puzzle-solving elements, and a progression system where you collect power crystals to strategically upgrade your abilities. Combat requires precise timing and strategic movement, especially during challenging boss battles against massive enemies that pepper your journey through the crumbling kingdom.

Take the .iso image and mount it into a virtual drive — any mounting utility works, or use "Mount" from the right-click menu on Windows 10/11.

setup.exeon the virtual drive and walk through the installation. -
Move the contents of the
SKIDROWfolder from the disc into the main game directory, replacing existing files. -
Play — start the game from the installed shortcut and grant administrator rights if Windows asks for them.
