This is Interesting is a psychological horror narrative game with roguelite elements designed by Scott Jund. Players are trapped in a mysterious grey purgatory where they are constantly being watched and must delve into the depths of their memories to discover why they are trapped. The game features knowledge-based progression, where information gathered over multiple playthroughs is crucial to advancing the storyline and revealing the true ending. Hidden statistics track your decisions throughout your playthrough, significantly altering possible outcomes and encouraging experimentation with different options. The game’s audio features its own soundtrack and unsettling ambient sounds that add to the unsettling atmosphere as you explore the prison-like environment. Each playthrough offers a different experience, but only by piecing together the knowledge gained over multiple playthroughs will players be able to uncover the full plot.
