Description

The Sinking City Remastered is a nightmarish journey through a dying city, where fear is real and reason is an illusion. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the remaster brings Lovecraft’s madness to life like never before. Dive into the decaying Oakmont, where space and time have lost their meaning. You will not so much investigate as survive, preserving the crumbs of sanity. Death is not always the end, and the answers can be worse than the questions. Use sight, hearing and suspicion to unravel the terrifying secrets of the city, losing yourself in the process. Every decision affects the fate of the hero balance on the brink of madness, choosing between truth and common sense. Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.
