Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero is an RPG set in a world on the brink of an abyss, where players assume the role of a Proxy, a guide through alternate dimensions known as Hollows. Players choose one of two protagonists, Wise or Belle, each leading an expedition into these dangerous areas. The goal? To battle creatures called Ethereals and navigate the various challenges within these dimensions. Along the way, Proxy recruits Agents and is supported by Bangbows, companions that enhance combat effectiveness. This team dynamic encourages experimentation as players combine skills and tactics to overcome increasingly difficult challenges.

The game’s structure includes two distinct modes: TV Mode and Battle Mode. In TV Mode, players explore the Hollows in a style reminiscent of classic dungeon crawlers, roaming the environment, collecting treasure, and solving puzzles. When encountering enemies, the game switches to Combat Mode, a 3D hack-and-slash that tests reflexes and timing. Each fight involves chaining attacks and forming combos, rewarding players who time their moves effectively.

Set in New Eridu, a city living amidst ruins, Zenless Zone Zero introduces a number of unique factions. From the Gentle House agency to the Sons of Calydon biker gang, each faction brings its own twist to the city’s efforts to survive. These factions offer allies, missions, and rivalries that shape the player’s journey, providing a multi-layered experience set in an unconventional future.
