Combat Mission 3 Afrika Korps is a World War II strategy simulation game that puts you in control of historically accurate campaigns in North Africa, Crete and Italy from 1940-1942. Lead Allied or Axis forces through the invasion of Crete, the desert war against Rommel's Afrika Korps and the brutal Italian campaign. The game features a unique hybrid combat system that combines real-time action with turn-based tactical planning, allowing you to carefully plan ambushes and flanking maneuvers and then watch them unfold.

Combat revolves around controlling over 800 different unit types, including iconic tanks such as the M4 Sherman, Panther and Firefly, each featuring authentic performance characteristics and period-accurate camouflage. The 3D graphics feature dynamic weather effects and day/night cycles that affect battlefield visibility and tactics. Seven full campaigns and over 140 scenarios provide a wealth of content for single-player play, while quick battle modes allow you to engage in individual skirmishes with a variety of unit compositions. A built in map editor extends the gameplay indefinitely, allowing you to create your own scenarios.
