Description
AQUAPAZZA Aquaplus Dream Match brings together 26 fighters from various fictional worlds for tournament-style duels. Characters from franchises like Utawarerumono and To Heart 2 clash in one-on-one battles in a 2D space. Each hero possesses a unique moveset designed for competitive combat. Players must master special abilities and movement tactics to achieve dominance in the arena. The roster combines fencing, magic, and medieval fantasy elements characteristic of their original universes.
The core mechanic of AQUAPAZZA Aquaplus Dream Match is the companion system. Before the match begins, players select a main character and a support character from a separate roster of over a dozen characters. These companions can be summoned to provide tactical support, potentially turning the tide of battle. Battles also utilize the Active Emotion System, a feature that encourages an aggressive playstyle and activates a powered-up character. Fights can end with spectacular finishing combos called Splash Arts.
The game supports both complex and simple gameplay thanks to the optional Simple control scheme. This system makes entering commands for complex actions easier, allowing for immediate local PvP battles. The crossover roster creates a rich backstory atmosphere, bringing together characters from visual novels and role-playing titles. The central concept of the fighting game is a spectacular competition where mythological and fantasy characters settle their differences in open confrontation.
