Description
Murder Is Game Over Murder Otaku is a mysterious incident at the YokaiKon pop culture convention, where a detective duo must solve a puzzling crime. The main characters, detective Guy and his faithful dog Cleo, arrive at the historic 1920s hotel that is the venue for the event. Their mission begins after the tragic death of a famous J-pop singer, whose death shrouds the tumultuous event in a sinister mystery. The protagonists must delve into the unique world of anime fans to find clues that lead to the solution.
The investigation forces them to methodically explore every corner of the gloomy hotel. Interacting with eccentric suspects, from obsessive stalkers to envious rivals, the heroes piece together clues. The developers created a tense atmosphere, where rumors of a cursed Oni statue complicate the case, adding a touch of mystery to the detective story. The gameplay of Murder Is Game Over: Murder Otaku requires players to pay attention to detail and use logical thinking to piece together the facts. By interviewing witnesses and discovering hidden clues, the investigating duo gets closer to the truth.
The ultimate goal is to expose the culprit hiding among the YokaiKon participants and guests. The collected evidence must be analyzed to form an irrefutable chain of events pointing to the culprit. Before the sun rises, the mystery must be solved and the perpetrator brought to justice, bringing this complex and unusual case to an end.
