Description

Disciples Domination, whose narrative begins 15 years after the liberation of Nevendaar, places the governance of a crumbling kingdom at the forefront. Players will ascend to the throne of Queen Avianna and face the consequences of past actions. Political stability gives way to insidious intrigue, and an ancient cult is emerging in the shadows. The awakening of a corrupted seer and the return of the long-lost Mountain Clans only exacerbate the chaos.

Old enemies are once again gaining strength, and war becomes the only way to protect the decaying empire from dark magic and internal conspiracies. Every decision directly impacts the fate of the ruler and the future of the entire world. The central element of the gameplay is tactical turn-based battles on a grid map, enhanced with increased dynamics and expanded interaction options. Strategic depth in Disciples Domination is achieved through unique faction abilities and dangerous synergies between units, which play a decisive role in the outcome of battles.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for RUNE

  1. Mount the .iso file in a virtual drive — on Windows 10/11 double-clicking the image is enough.

  2. Run the installer from the disc and install the game — the release is already cracked, so no manual file copying is required.

  3. Use the desktop shortcut created by the installer to start the game.

  4. If the game does not launch, copy the contents of the RUNE folder on the disc into the installed game folder and try again.

Steam Deck

  • Improved overall performance on Steam Deck.

  • The game has received the Steam Deck Playable compatibility rating.

Gameplay & Balance

  • Fixed an issue where the faction bonus granting +1 Morale at the start of battle was not applied correctly.

  • Fixed an issue with The Sculptor's Dilemma where the Hearthbeat Rock Lord incorrectly had the Primal power type.

  • Fixed an issue affecting Unique Golems, which incorrectly had only 3 Movement Points compared to the regular Golem's 4. Their Movement Points are now correctly balanced.

  • Fixed an issue where the Burning effect of the Dual Shard of Wrathful Hatred did not work as intended.

  • Fixed an issue with the Phylactery reward. It now works as intended and matches its description.

Audio

  • Fixed duplicate audio playing for the Winter Witch's primary and secondary abilities.

  • Fixed an issue where Helmer's attack sounds would be playing twice.

  • Fixed duplicate audio playing for Modeus' secondary ability.

  • Fixed an issue with incorrect audio playing during Osric's death animation in battles within the Temple of Cinders.

  • Fixed an issue where audio was missing for the final blow of the Divine Thunder skill.

 

Environment & Character Movement

  • Fixed an issue in Skyless Grove where the player character could become visually hidden inside walls when moving close to certain surfaces.

  • Fixed an issue where the player character could clip through the Skyless Grove entrance in Elma'ar.

  • Fixed a clipping issue between Avyanna and the secret door on the first floor of the Tower of Jubilation.

  • Fixed an issue where the player character could clip through stairs and walls in the Tower of Jubilation.

  • Fixed an issue with a floating ladder on the second floor of the Temple of Cinders in New Game+.

  • \[New Game+] Fixed an issue where the player character could clip through a pillar in the Cragwell area.

UI & Controls

  • Fixed an issue preventing players from scrolling through the Grievance list during the Black Calamity crisis in the Demon Region.
